My brother is so protective over me,Hes 22 and im 19..he scared off a guy that I liked and wanted to get to know better,he told him I didnt need a grandpa for a boyfriend,the guy was 25..Anyways,How do I get him to stop being so protective over me,it pisses me off.He acts like hes my father.

Tell him thank you for watching over you like that. And while you are at it, enjoy your brother to the fullest. I lost my only brother 2 years ago an unexpected death and now I don't have him to talk to or watch over me either.

dont be offended it because he love you i was the same way with my sister and man did it piss her off but my parents were divorced when i was 9 my sister was 6 and when we got older i just felt like it was my position to take care of those kind of things plus some of the guys that were trying to get to my sister i knew a little more about them than she did i mean being a guy you know what guys are after and i think we somtimes feel guilty for some of the crap we did to some other guys sisters get my drift?

I would just be grateful to have a brother who cared that much about my well being . Your brother knows what young guys are about , and out for and loves you enough to protect you ! Count your blessings girl !

tell him to hop off and get his own life.. ur 19 years old. ur a big girl and can make your own decisions!! my older brother used to be the same way with me.
