We do - sometimes
- However it is an extra step to take when peeing, and we like the quick aproach -
- As a guy I view the world as my own toilet - as gross as that may sound, a lot of guys feel the same way.
- But to us it isn't a big deal when we leave the door open. We just don't really care.

If he lives in a house with a wife and five daughters he learns. He will additionally learn how miserable he can become by leaving a toilet seat up and a three year old sitting down in the dark and getting stuck in the cold water.
Only did that once 13 years ago, never again since then.

The increased air pressure caused by the closed door creates a back-flow that stops urination.
That is why men's rooms have large open areas near the urinals.
