I had at least 126 come to my home last year, I thought that was
quite a few since its regular streets of one family homes and no
apartment complexes close by . I had reeses and kit kats and
almost ran out.

Last year we had between 40-50. Which is unusual considering all the sponsored stuff going on. We both dress up to greet the kiddies. Before we were married my husband wasn't in the mood to celebrate Halloween, and he loves it now. He was so surprised at all the kids! And he loves kids!

We just got our pumpkins to carve, and all the candy. We can't wait!

I bet you did think that was quite a few, but I bet it also had it's wonderful moments...I unfortunately didn't have any trick-or-treaters last year and won't this year either...we moved last year to a place way out in the boonies with the only neighbors on our out-of-the-way road was a woman who the one time I met her seemed very unfriendly but had 2 kids and an amish family who doesn't celebrate the holiday...it was kind of sad, because when I lived in my hometown I had lots of trick-or-treaters and loved to see what ideas people came up with for this great holiday....This year I decided that I would throw my first-ever halloween party...so please everyone pray with me that it turns out well...Take care and Happy Halloween everyone...

I have a similar number and usually do run out, I don't like to spoil kids fun but some of these people are far from being kids and something needs to be done to contain it.

This is one thing the UK have inherited from the US we could well do without.

If we all stop doing it they will stop bothering to call...I for one am stopping this year. I'll switch out the lights to discourage them and give it a try....you with me?

I used to have about 100 kids before I moved. I now like in the "woods" so we only get a handful.
