I think Ben's great but would hate to see him get hurt worse if not fully recovered from the concussion, therefor I don't think he should play, and come on it's the raiders, what do you think Cowher will do?

well i am a die hard steelers fan and i think he should play charlie, charlie is doing good and we will need ben later in the playoffs.. charlie can handle the sorry raiders, to be honest we should probably start pierre the 3rd string to be honest. but no i think he should rest..

Go Steelers.. Super Bowl Champs.. one for the thumb baby.. no we start on the other hand..

Batch is going to start, geez people watch KDKA or something. Cowher isnt going to try and rush Ben back onto the field, the team knows that Batch can lead the team while he is down with his injury so its a no brainer. Maybe if it was Maddox or the team didnt already trust in Batch to actually be able to lead the team Big Ben would be starting, but the team knows Batch can win they trust him on the field so Batch gets the start.

Well dont underestimate the horrible Raiders they won last week and Charlie Batch did throw a pair of TD passes last week. I think the biggest problem this year is the Steelers playing Roethlisberger to quickly after an injury or during his recovery. I would start Batch and if absolutely needed put in Roethlisberger.

Regardless of whether Ben plays or not, you'll be playing the Raiders, the crappiest team in the NFL today. This will be an automatic win for the Steelers, trust me. The Raiders play like a high school team.

I don't think Ben will play. First he would have to be cleared though. You have to remember he has one of the best teams of Doctors in the country. It was nuerosurgeons from UPMC that actually developed the tests for the concussions.
For the record KDKA ISN'T a national network. Most of us don't get it. Don't say to just watch our local news either because alot don't report on it. I know you hear all the time in the Pittsburgh region but once you leave that the news goes down real quick.

I think hes gonna play Batch. Roethlisberger had a concussion not to long ago, so this might be a concern. Plus one week wont make that big of a difference

Cower said that Big Buns is probable to play, but i'm like you, 1 or 2 more concussions and he will have to give up football so I don't think he should play this week, he's been through an awful lot this year.

Im scared with Big Ben, getting another concussion since the motorcycle accident. i think he'll let Batch play and let Ben sit out at least another week. i think thats the best thing to do.

most would think batch but i think probably ben because ben stil isnt back to the great qb he was the las few years and the raiders d line isnt very good so i think hell take the risk to keep ben fresh for the importnant games in the future n lets not forget they are 2-4

I think that they should sit Ben if there is even the slightest doubt about the effects of the concussion. Its just too risky. He needs at least another week I think.
