I'm not affiliated with either party, but I do tend to identify more with the Republicans, simply because I'm a moderate conservative. Here's my view on each of those:
1. Ensures that government agencies will share information. Also allows the government more power in catching terrorists, something that is sorely needed, as evidenced by 9/11.
2. Still legal, hasn't changed. However, there are motions to illegalize partial-birth abortions. If you don't know what those are, here's a brief synopsis:
Labor is induced late in the pregnancy. The BABY is then delivered feet first. The doctor then inserts a pair of scissors into the back of the skull, and widens the hole. Finally, a vacuum is then placed inside to suck out the brains. Lovely, isn't it.
3. Some states are still trying to legalize it. President Bush is trying to pass a marriage act so that it CAN'T revert to the states.
4. The debate was on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. I'm for stem cell research, but very much against embryonic stem cell research.
5. Attempting to stabilize the government so they can fend for themselves.
6. Because there are immature, silly people in both parties.
7. Can't think of anything else.

Republicans are stupid.

Democrats are evil.

That pretty much is the gist of the hundreds of pages that can and have been written about the above topics.
