There's no such thing as international money. If you mean you need money from other countries, go to a major bank that does currency exchange and exchange some of your dollars for whatever other currency you need for your project. When the project is finished you can change the money back to your currency again.

In addition to Western Union, there is a new company called Money Gram that I used just this week to send money to my wife. It was much cheaper and just as reliable. Just make sure to ask where the nearest "pay-out" office is. For larger sums of money, (anything over $200 usd), I use my local bank. Their wire fee is ONLY $10 for any amount of money. Check the small, local banks to find the best wire rates, you may be surprised at how cheap it is. Your friend will need a bank account and you will need the wire destination numbers. Good Luck

From a bank or Bureau de Change. If it's very widely used currency such as the Euro or Dollar/Pound Sterling, they will probably be able to sell you some there and then. If it's a very obscure currency it may take a couple of days to get it.

what do you mean by international money, each country has its own with the exception of the euro, although the US Dollar is accepted in most of the Americas and the Caribbean, not the whole world as they like to think
