Don't you righties even watch the shows you use as examples turns out last season it was the president behind all the terror that took place during those 24 hours. would you be up to finding out Bush was the one behind all our ills?

Ok, first, 24 is fiction. It takes place in 24 hours (all that happens in those 24 hours is a bit unrealistic).
Regardless, if we were under attack and some terrorists were going to launch a nuke, or biological weapon or whatever, I'm sure agents such as Jack Bauer would do whatever it took if they had people they KNEW were the actual bad guys.

Don't tell me what happens in the fifth season! I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD.
Anyway, the reason Jack Bauer is used as an example is because he would stop at NOTHING to get information he needed out of the terrorists, even if it meant shooting them in the leg.
We need that kind of action, if that's what it takes to save hundreds of thousands of lives.

i've only seen 24 once and im guessing he's a counter-terrorist agent.
