Sombody help me with my ipod plze?

when ever i try to charge my ipod it wont charge and when i plug it into my computer it wont charge instead on the screen an apple logo comes up or a battery with an ! next to it pleaze help me.

I hate it when this happens. It seems your ipod battery is bad and you have to get a new one installed. Contact apple and they should be able to fix it. I think it costs 55 dollars for a new ipod battery.

This used to happen to me. I don't know if it's the same problem, but does your computer and/or itunes reconize your ipod? If itunes dosnt, install the latest version. It may also be that your battery is messed up.
