I'm in Ohio and during our next Elections in November, a law may be passed to ban smoking in public. How is that even constitutional? So, let me get this straight, owmen can abort their own babies, homosexuals can't marry, and we will no longer have the right to smoke outside our homes. Oh, and I can't forget that in another state they are trying to ban baggy jeans. What next, are they going to ban cable television? What about football because it's an agressive sport? what are your opinions?

I think it should be up to the owner of the restaraunt if smoking should be allowed or not.

Anything is possible these days that's why as a woman I vote because we fought long and hard for that right and I feel if enough of us don't do it the government will take that right from us, why wouldn't they, they do with everything else, same went for my foid card I applied for it and baught a fire arm before they take that right away too, I think as Americans we need to exercise more of our free rights before they're all taken from us next thing you'll know we'll have to pay a tax everytime we wipe our @ss.

It is not constitutional, our courts have been used for years to circumvent our Representative government and establish unconstitutional laws. Vote for Republicans who will keep electing originalists to the courts who strictly interpret the constitution and do not look at it as a work in progress. It is a perfect document and does not need to be compared to international consensus or used for liberal activists.

Yes...its really gotten out of hand.
In regards to smoking, that is a personal choice.
Now, I am happy that restaurants are smoke-free...but to ban smokers from smoking outside in public places is just wrong.

All personal and consensual issues done by adults and/or with adults should be off-limits to government regulation.

It's tough because smoking in public does impact those that may not want to be exposed. Thats why they can elect to ban smoking in public. People should be free to do what they want as long as it doesn't harm another living person.

I think It's ridiculous...

You are right...Why can't we make our own decisions...

I think It's starts in school first, every one has to be the same...
Taught the same, dress the same...ETC...
Now the people that believed it in school are all grown up and "know" they know better. Brain washed)

We don't have our rights anymore...and we will get less...

No matter who's in the white house...
They will vote on bills that will make sure children are taught what they want them to know.

We are now letting our own government brain wash our children's minds so it will get easyer for them...the government...
And we stand by and watch....when will It end...
