Perfume is a funny thing... what may smell good on one person, smells like the pigs got into the flowerbed on another. It mixes with your OWN personal body chemistry and emits a completely different odor for different people! Eeew! SO... this may take some time and effort, but actually spray it on your arm/wrist and walk around for awhile... then smell it to see if YOU like it. Ask a trusted friend if it smells good on you. Don't do more than two fragrances in a day - use the other arm for fragrance #2. Or, you can try one of those shops that allows you to develop your own scent that matches your body chemistry. See the website listed below for some "fun" ideas!

A light, sweet body spray is probably best for you. Something like a Bath&Body Works body spray. I really like Carried Away (Raspberries, Jasmine and Vanilla) and White Citrus (Lemon, Grapefruit, Waterlily, and Ginger Flower). They'd both be perfect for you because they are sweet, light and linger around you for a long time. They aren't overwhelming, but they do give off a really clean scent. Since you work around children, don't wear a heavy body spray or perfume. You could trigger an allergic reaction or asthma attack, which would not be good! Apply a few spritzes of one of the scents I listed and you'll be good to go.

Pleasures by Estee Lauder is a crisp clean scent as is their white linen. I've been wearing both since college and still love them. They dont have the "old lady perfume" smell to them. Nor are they the kind that smells like cheap perfume

I've used "Rapture" from Victoria's Secret as my "trademark scent" since my mid 20's. I'm in my 30's now and it still works for me. I get compliments every time I wear it. It's a really feminine scent without being too "heavy". It's always nice to pick a perfume that will grow with her because if she really likes it she may not want something that's only appropriate for her age now. If you DO want something 20's specific then Curious by Brittney Spears is nice or CK One by Calvin Klein.

Ralph Blue or Pink is pretty good. And not too expensive. I've had a lot of compliments from guys, saying it's not too strong, but just right.
