After all, with all her money the kid will never want for the anything - thr IMPORTANT things in life (like £5,000 Harrods Rocking Horses, miniature Gucci trainers, public school education, ponies, all the greedy pointless designer crap money can buy).

Probably spend most of their time being looked after by a nanny though. And grow up spoiled selfish, not knowing the value of money and out of touch with their roots

But hey, money is what matters in all this isn't it? You can love a child so much better if you have money.

Hey Madonna should adopt ALL our kids!

PS

I was being sarcastic. I think what she's done is reprehensible.

And you can love a child just fine without money.

If you think like this woman then you don't deserve to become a mother !!!!

I'm glad you came to your senses and added to your Q. You cannot compare any amount of money to a child

I don't see what the problem is myself. At the moment the little boy in question is festering away in some squalid 3rd world orphanage because the real parents aren't capable of looking after him. If you were a parent and trying to put your child's best interests first, what would you want for your child? To continue to rot in an under-funded orphanage where he would be lucky to reach his teenage years? Or would you give him the opportunity to live a long healthy life with proper healthcare and education and he could go on to do something with his life other than forage in the dirt for his next meal after he was too old for the orphanage? All the relatives of the little boy have given their consent to his adoption. Also, how do you know he would grow up spoilt and selfish? Do you know her other two children personally?

wel funny ask as in school last year when i was in yr 8 we had to act out a play called blood brothers and the woman has to sell her child for a price to a rich woman, and i had trouble playing that role as i think its completly wrong, if the child had no mother or father i will understand y she took him, but the child has a father and the child has been taken away frm him, i think thats sad, money can never by a childs love so the baby should stay with his father, madonna should just donate money to him. your right it not like she wil ever get time to spend with the child , madonnas other 2 kids have a one nanny each.when im older i would never sell my kids, its not fair to the child.

1. Please read the interview with Oprah. She explains what happened.

2. Madonna has her professional personna that has made her wealthy (To the jealous: You should have worked so hard to have her royalties.), but, on the records, uses her money, time and energy to help fight AIDS. Is that wrong? Or do you think it would be better for her to spend all her money on addictions and indulgence, like so many 'Pop' and 'Rock' stars?

3. No one on this page knows for a fact how she conducts her relationships with her children, so it's just conjecture.

4. Fact is the media follow the famous and spin the story any way they want. Don't shoot the famous, shoot the messenger.

5. Yes, if I could not manage, and the welfare of my children were at stake, I would entrust her implicitly with my children. They would be surrounded by creativity, opportunity, travel and learning advantages.

Good Luck and Warm Wishes.

My child is priceless!!! Besides, no one else would put up with him!!!:))

The main issue is why is this such big news. Why aren't more people trying to help these children and the children of this country who need families. Why is it when someone actually walks the talk, they everyone else has a fit!!!! I wish I could adopt a bunch of these kids, but hell I can't afford the one I've got!!! Madonna has more money than most countries, if she wants to adopt children and give them a better life. THEN LET HER, I DON'T SEE ANYONE ELSE REALLY DOING ANYTHING TO HELP!!!!!!

I think you have it all wrong. Ok she is rich and famous and has been able to 'buy' this child but I am in no doubt that she and her family will love this child like their own and of course they will have all the stuff that goes with that lifestyle but I think it can only be a good thing, she will love him and he will be safe and hopefully have a long, happy and healthy life

''You can love a child so much better if you have money'' this is the most ridiculous quote i have ever read money will never be a factor on how much i love my kids. i came from a very poor family and my mother loved me very much. if she would have been rich than she would probably pay attention to other stuff.

She would have be go through my dead body first!
No amount of money would take my kids away from me.

we have loved and supported our kids always. We don't have much money to spend on them but they have always been given the same opportunities as other children. They are both thriving and are fantastic children.

It wouldn't matter if you were charging anything or not..she'd find a way to get your kid if she wanted him/her. After all this is a mega-rich celeb, ME-donna, and she will flout any adoption law out there to get the kid she wants.

Parents beware!!

And as far as that Oprah interview goes..that's called damage control and spin.
