Painful as it may be to hear it, there's nothing special about the people of this country (liberal or conservative) that sets them apart from the other people of the world. It is the Bill of Rights, and only the Bill of Rights, that keeps us from becoming the world's biggest banana republic. The moment we forget that, the American Dream is over.

Why do people assume things about others? Liberals are people who ascribe to a liberal definition of culture and society, as well as its methods of sufficiency. Nowhere does God or a lack of God come into the picture. Take your blinders off, man.

They are not all Godless. I have Liberal friends who are strong Christians. They just happen to get nearly every social, economical, & worldwide issues wrong.

I am a liberal. I attend church regularly. I pray often for the narrow-minded, self-righteous, extreme rightists to get over themselves and start being more benevolent and realistic and less arrogant and threatening.
