The timing spec. should be on the "engine info label " attached to the under side of hood. I believe the "lite strobe" pointed to the crankshaft pulley dampner @ timing pointer will read TDC (0 degrees) with vacumn attached. With vacumn dis-connected @ distributor the reading will be 18 degrees BTDC, You'll noitice a "pin" on the pulley dampner. P.S. Be sure the engine has warmed-up to normal temp. reading on gauge, prior to making any adjustments. Good luck!

That is a 119 engine with dual distributors with rotors driven by the front of 2 of the 4 camshafts and it's not adjustable to the best of my knowledge. If it is out of spec, there is a problem and it's an interference engine so I would get it taken care of quickly. Adjusting the cam timing takes special tools and I wouldn't touch it if I were you. Bring it to the dealer if you believe there is a problem. Chances are, it's something else. From what I remember though, the timing is not adjustable.
