same reasons we hate bush

He has made a complete mess of the country. He is insincere and untrustworthy in a say one thing and do another kind of way. He attempts to stigmatise, legislate and regulate on every bloody thing in creation with his crony Brown fabricating a whole load of entirely misleading and gerrymandered set of statistics to tell us what a great job they are doing.
They basically spend all their time trying to prove something or other is bad / antisocial so that they can fine us and generally tax us 'till the pips squeak.
...and so much more
Selling us down the river economically, destroying our competitiveness, making businesses fail with over-regulation and taxation ...

Why do so many Americans hate Bush?
It's the nature of the beast, the beast being politics. These days, Politics isn't about doing what's right for their citizens anymore, it's about getting that smidgen of Power in government and trying everything to keep it and move up to the top. Pretty sad if you ask me.

For supporting Bush mainly. He has been forced to say he will resign within the year (probably May after local elections)

I'm guessing they see him as Bush's lapdog, so naturally that reflects badly on him.
