Aww congrats it is the baby kicking. If it was like a pitter patter it could also be hiccups bc the baby practices breathing by inhaling amnionic fluid into developing lungs.

When you are 32 weeks though you will feel less kicking bc the baby sleeps 90-95% of the time. My doctor told me i Have to e able to feel the baby kick 10 times in a row within 2 hours once everyday. If I don't then i am suppose to eat something to wake the baby up and if i still don't get 10 kicks then i have to go to the hospital so they can monitor the baby.

You had better be feeling that baby kick by 25 weeks, and it had better be every day all day and even at night.
Otherwise there would be a serious problem. If you dont feel the baby move for 24 hours you need to go to the hospital RIGHT AWAY. You should feel about 10 kicks in 2 hours by this point.

There isn't a certain amount of kicks or movements that you are supposed to feel. Everyone feels the baby move for the first time at different times of their pregnancy. Don't listen to people say that you should feel it this many times in this amount of time. It is all different for all woman. Of course if you have been feeling it move alot and then it stops moving for a long time then you had better get it checked out.
Good luck

Yes! That's exactly it - Baby is groovin'! It's important that you feel the baby move every single day (and at night too - some babies are VERY wiggly just when Mom tries to get some sleep...) Congrats! Take good care of yourself and Baby.

is your baby for sure and it is only going to get better soon you will feel it rolling over. and my baby does that to what you said about how it stops when you put your hand on it. I am 36 weeks pregnant and my baby still stops moving when I rub my tummy and if somebody puts theri hand on my tummy as well, maybe they feel the heat from our hands and it relaxes them but I am postive everything is fine with your baby enjoy being pregnant it goes by fast I love your question as it is an exciting time for you. good luck and best wishes for you and your family

Yeah most likely it is BABY saying hi mommy! Once you feel it he/she won't let your forget it. (trust me) as odd as this sounds enjoy it now because once baby is out its going to be a little odd not feeling it for the first few weeks. Best wishes to you and baby!

well you have a pulse in your belly. is it rhythmic? if so it is your heart beat, but if it follows a pattern, but is not constant going, then it is the baby! you are far enough along for the baby to kick, but like i said if it's rhythmic like two times per second, then it's just your heartbeat

Yes it's the baby. Just wait. In no time he/she will be making jabs to your ribs and doing backflips!
Congratulations!
