yes most of his advice is common sense. I LOVE DR. PHIL but i do find myself saying..."duhhhhh" a lot but it's not an attack on his advice its an attack on the guests and their common sense. but hey i guess someone has to get paid to deliver common sense advice on television because as strange as it is people would rather take it from a guy sitting on a couch than their own family and friends. *BIG SIGH* for humanity lolz.
*smooches*

have you seen the guest that go to dr. Phil for advice? Like a preview I saw where a woman was trying to run over her son-in law. Duh....common sense is not taking her to Dr. Phil but to prison for attempted murder or vehicular manslaughter! Or another lady where her mother put a hit on her daughter's boyfriend. No Dr. Phil.....Yes, jail ~ my goodness wake up people!

Yes it is commonsense, but when there are problems with family everything is clouded, people don't know who to turn to. Dr Phil gets the conversation going and tells them how to open up and talk. His show is a life saver to so many families facing difficulties. Don't bag his therapy

Everyone wants to talk to him, like because they think that he's really good, but it really is obvious and you should know the answers by then. Those people are a little dumb, but some things, you would really need Dr. Phil's advice. All my opinion.

Yeah, and a lot of what he seems to say hardly qualifies as common sense. Remember, it's entertainment, not counseling and therapy.

I disagree. hassle-loose experience is in simple terms understanding the main suitable way forward in any given situation. a humorousness has been defined as anger became sideways and that makes quite some experience on condition that maximum humor has it quite is roots in issues and circumstances that frustrate or annoy us.

Yeah, he has made a successful career from stating the obvious, but using crazy metaphors to get his point across. Nonsensical statements like, "You can't use dead ferret to bring home the bobcats, etc."

YES! I agree completely. He's just stating the obvious, but using synonyms so people don't catch it. It's the same with pet phsycics. They tell you exactly what you already know.

It is, but you have to realize that there are people out there who are lacking common sense.

Sure. But haven't you noticed the outrageous amount of people that lack just that?
