I moved out when I graduated high school at 17. I got an apartment with 2 friends. It was hard!!! I was working and going to college...the other 2 girls I lived with were just working. They didn't respect the fact that I needed quiet time to study, they partied a lot, which meant I got little sleep and people were always over till wee hours in the mornings, groceries were a pain...they wanted to all go in together on groceries and I wanted certain things, and when I purchased these items, they got ate and not by me, bills became an issue when one of the girls lost her job..we let ANOTHER girl move in with us...imagine 4 girls in a 2 bedroom apartment...it was H*LL!! Moving out on your own is great...I would just suggest finding a place you can afford by yourself, maybe a studio apartment or something...don't ever live with a "best" friend because you 2 will end up at each others throats over stupid things like borrowing each others clothes without asking, who didn't do the dishes, etc. Good Luck :-)
