Someone who will allllways be there for me.
Who will let me cry on their shoulder.
Who will comfort me any time.
Who will sit there and listen to my problems.
Who will support me in my decisions.
Someone who is HONEST with me.
Someone who's got my back and will tell me any bad decisions I may make.

Now .... in funny terms:

A TRUE FRIEND SAYS THIS:

1. When you are sad -- I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad.

2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.

3. When you smile -- I will know you finally got laid.

4. When you are scared -- I will rag on you about it every chance I get.

5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining.

6. When you are confused -- I will use little words.

7. When you are sick -- Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don't want catch whatever you have.

8. When you fall -- I will point and laugh at your clumsy ***.

Trust, honesty, respect, consideration, understanding, compassion and loyalty. All those things make for a good friend as well as someone you feel comfortable with, someone you can open up to and talk to about anything and they don't judge you for it.

Honesty. I like friends who are real with me, and with whom I can feel safe being honest and open, knowing that I can trust them.
