Well 8 hours is too long and staying in the gym for 30 minutes is too short. So try going to the gym for 2 hours or Take a walk for 1 and a half

walking for 8 hrs will exhaust you. so i think it's better to work out at a gym for 30 minutes a day.

8 hours!... are you a mail carrier or a meter reader? If you walk for 8 hours you don't have to work out at a gym.
