Good idea, just don't let her hold your friends and their daughters back from TrT'ing.

we took my baby out her first year but she was 8 mos and we just took her to 5 or 6 doors on the street to get pictures and show off her costume and then we took her like to grandma and aunties and some friends houses. You could also dress her up take her to a few houses for show and then come back and let her help you answer the door and hand out candy. the kids will be delighted. :)

I dressed my daughter as a rose for her first Halloween--basically I put her in a green sleepy suit and made a pink circle to go around her face out of pink satin. If the sleepy suit has a hood perhaps you could attach it to that.

I took my daughter reverse trick or treating. I dressed her up and we took candy and pictures to family and friends in the area. If you want to dress her up and go out with friends go for it. I would not take her to the door for candy though. It would obviously not be for her.

Do what you want. Go! But last year we got my son a puppy costume and took pictures of him in it. We didn't end up taking him tricker treating though. Try the mall where it's warm and lighted with plenty of people.

My son is 3 weeks old and I am taking him out all dressed up with my 3 year old son! Just don't stay out too long since it may be cold!

i think it's would be cute to dress them up! you would want to pick something warm and cozy though, so you could dress them as ladybugs, which would be like a sack that you could layer up clothes underneath! or a baby chick. or anything that leaves room for many layers!

I think it is a very cute idea and it won't hurt anyone to let her go as long as you keep her warm and safe. Go ahead and have fun enjoy her and take lots of pictures to remember it.

I took my daughter out when she was 11 months old, just because she looked so cute! She was a bunny. Of course I didn't give her any candy, but it was fun for me! It's your kid, do what you like. No candy for her though!

I think dressing her up is fine and cute and you should get some great pictures. But actually taking her trick or treating is a little too much. If someone came to the door with an infant trick or treating I would think "LOSER".

I'm all for it! Halloween is great fun, plus your daughter will get a kick out of the pictures when she is older. Your mother is a humbug, but I'm betting when you give her copies of the pictures she'll love them.
