Okay, one, foundation does not make ANYTHING better. On the contrary, it makes your skin worse. You know celebrities? How they constantly have a ton of makeup? Especially foundation? That's because once they got into show business, they probably had a few blemishes (flaws) like a few pimples or dark circles under their eyes, and they had to cover up with foundation. After a while, with the foundation, their skin gets worse, so they have to put more and more foundation! And then it's an endless cycle of being forced to put something which looks good at first, but secretly works away doing a lot of damage! Have you ever seen a celebrity without makeup? Here, check this out (nothing obscene, don't worry):

See what I mean? Celebrities are in the constantly horrible cycle of being forced to make themselves perfect, but fake. Constant hiding... is that something to desire? I don't think so. Therefore, in the end, at your young age, you should be drinking and eating well, cleaning/washing your skin daily every morning and night and applying a hypoallergenic face lotion afterward, exercising every week and getting all the sleep you need. Are you sure the bags are naturally there or not from lack of sleep? Be sure! Alright, this is pretty long adive-giving right now, so I'll just stop finish with: remember to stay as subtle as possible for as long as possible (only go for light lipstick and maybe a little blush, but that's all), learn to accept yourself and use makeup to enhance your beauty, not make it. Good luck and take care!! : )

I know how you feel. I've had bags under my eyes ever since I was a little girl. Everyone always asks if I'm tired.

I just dab on three dots of cover girl concealer and blend it in. I never knew that it has "chemicals" that may be bad for you. But I've been using it for 11 years and nothing bad has happened! Just tell your mom you're getting hassled at school. If she still doesn't want you wearing make-up, you could put cucumber slices on your eyes. It kind of works! But I bet you inherited those bags from someone, and if they're from you're mom, she'll understand the problem.

There are alot of healthy makeup products at health food stores. It is true that regular makeup has bad chemicals in it that can really irritate your skin. Arbon, Origin, Zia, and ecco bella are just a few of the healthy makeup brands. It is most important to get healthy foundation, powder, lipstick, and eyeshadow. I usually get the regular mascara since it doesn't come in contact with your skin as much. The only bad thing is healthy makeup is a little more expensive.

Tell your mom that there are some high quality makeup out there that have natural ingredients (if she's talking about CoverGirl and Revlon, then she's right.) Makeup labels like Clinique, Estee Lauder, and M.A.C are great starters, and they're made with natural aloes and minerals that enrich the beauty of your face. Just when choosing foundation, don't buy the cheap brands like Revlon, CoverGirl, or Maybeline...try Clinique and Estee Lauder..best yet.

Bags at 13? Talk to your mom about WHY you want to wear makeup. You don't need to slather your fresh young skin in foundation. Just use a little concealer under your eyes. But only with your mom's permission. If she says no you must respect her & follow her wishes.

Make up will only mess up your skin, especially since you are so young.

I don't know if this works or not, but try cucumbers, it's refreshing - I know that much. Lol. But in all honesty, if it bothers you that much see if a doctor or dermatologist might have something for you.

Right now, at 13, don't use makeup, I'm sure you have beautiful skin and you wouldn't want to damage it. Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, colors... you name it. If these people at school bother you for being you, are they really worth you getting upset over? Everybody has their flaws and nobody will ever be perfect! Look at your beauty and hold your chin up high!

You can get all-natural makeup from places like health-food stores and food co-ops, if you have any in your area. I'm not sure if you can get natural make-up in places like wal-greens.
Also, The Body Shop do natural make-up.
Your mom is just looking out for you, but I remember wanting to wear make-up at your age, and your mom probably did too. It's just part of growing up :)
Good luck!

well i have 3 suggestions. 1)try to find some all natural products if that fails then 2) try lip glosses that only have a bit of color and are good for your lips like chapstick you don't need to overdo it with mascara foundation eyeshadow eyeliner etc etc etc.. just a quick little gloss makes a hell of a difference and you can even use it on your eyelids if you like that shiny look lol xD. 3) if that doesn't work just obey her wishes

Your mom is correct about that. However, since you have a genuine need, you should talk her into buying more high-end cosmetics for you, if she can afford to. The Origins brand is very popular and all-natural. It is sold in most high-end department stores. You can check it out at http://www.origins.com/
