My boyfriend is absolutely amazing to me. He takes me out, lends me money if I need it, buys me little things, like roses and and rings, he's is totally amazing to me. We're both completely in love with each other as well. The only thing is I don't work (I'm studying at the moment) so I barely have any money, and I hate that I can't treate him the way he can me. Does anybody have any ideas for relatively cheap ways that I can show how much I love him? Thanks!

By the sound of it, you don't need to get him anything.
Don't hate that you can't treat him, because I'm sure he gives you things because he loves you, and not because he wants something in return, so let him buy you things and take you out, and lend you money because if he didn't want to, then surely he wouldn't. It would be completely different if you told him to and he didn't want to
I buy things for my girlfriend, and I do it because i love the smile on her face, and how much love there is between us, and she gives me a lot more than she thinks she does, and I can't stand that she doesn't think she does.
Your boyfriend sounds nice, but you sound amazing just for wanting to give him something, when others might be selfish and not care. Thats why he's with you I'm sure, because you give him something money could never buy, something much more than material goods, you give him love and happiness.

I really don't think you need money to buy materials to show your BF you love him. Absolutely not. Every little things like love notes, caring, listening, and being a great friend show so much of how much you appreciate and love him. This should be enough.

Don't worry about the money aspect - Just as long as you show him appreciation and love you are all good.

One thing that works is doing something different and exciting in bed. It will catch him off guard and he won't mind spoiling you.

I know I like to spoil my girl and I know she appreciates it by rewarding me in bed (or anywhere else, hint, hint) -

In short always tell him how much you appreciate everything and go out of your way once in awhile to do something "special". It doesn't need to cost anything - Cook a meal - Then a "special" dessert. - I know I would love it

I don't think it will make any difference whether u can buy him things or not. just the fact that he cares for u and does things for u shows that material things don't mean much to him. im sure just the smile it puts on your face and the appreciation you show is more than enough for him. A smile on your face is worth more than money can buy.

Write letters and decorate it with pictures of stuff that he would think was neat...little pictures of you or something you both like.

Make collages for him - art is always a cheap and great way to show someone how much you care because it takes time.

I'm kind of in the same spot.
My boyfriend knows everyday, and he tells me so.
It really is the little things, like learning to make tasty, kosher, diabetic-friendly meals.
Remembering there's a special show on that he forgot he wanted to see.
Lighting candles for no apparent reason, and some incense for good measure.
Just see his world and honor him in it, that's all.

Don't feel guilty because you can't do for him like he can for you. He knows you are going to school & not working. If he loves you, and it sounds like he does, he's doing these things for you because he wants to.
If you want to do something special for him cook for him, bake him something. If you are crafty make him something. Just telling him how much he means to you & that you would buy him the world if you could should be enough.

Give him a massage, fill his iPod with songs he would like, make him dinner... there are lots of things you can do that don't cost a lot
