Why or why not?

To me, age is just a number and doesn't effect how I see someone. I'm currently in a relationship with a man who is 20 years older than me, and it's the best relationship I've ever been in. When I look at him, I don't see the age difference; I only see that I love him with all my heart!♥

This really makes me laugh. Not about you as I have total respect for what your doing and only wish I could find someone 20 years younger then me to love and care for.
My laugh is that if I were to date a woman 20 years older then me it would be a total joke as I am 71 (going on 21) and I am actually afraid to ask for a date these days as I am a widower and really wouldn't know how to go about it. My biggest problem is trying to find a woman my age that doesn't weigh as much as a full dump truck. I never noticed just how many women were so over-weight until after my wife passed away and I started thinking about finding another companion. It is totally rediculous. I now know how a cowboy felt walking behind his horse.
So enjoy your love life young lady, and it's just too bad that most women don't see exactly what your talking about or doing. I guess they are satisfied with some of these meally mouth punks who really haven't got enough sense to get out of the rain muchless know how to treat a lady like a gentleman would. Good luck to you and your gentleman.

A long time ago I dated someone that was about that much older than me. Now I'm married to a man about 12 years older than me. We're 47 and 59 and it obviously doesn't make any difference now, but if I was 16 and he was 28, I'm sure it would have been discouraged.

well, im only 13, and i cant even imagine dating someone 5 years older than me!!

i think 20 years is starting to push it, but if both dont mind, then it's a green light betwen two people with big age differences

No.

That would make her 68.

And I doubt a 68 year old woman would want to come running with me when the mood strikes me, or hop on the back of the bike and go for a ride some place.

age is a number, but the physical effects of age are evident. i don't wanna be in my 20's with a dude who is over 40 and needs viagra. with one exception: russell crowe. don't care if he's 80- i am so there.

Eventually, like it or not, the age difference will rear it's ugly head.
