I believe it should be a personal choice

I am a 31 yo woman and I do not think that it is okay to have an abortion..a fetus is a living thing..it has a heartbeat...and when i was pregnant(MOM OF3)the moment i found out i was pregnant, before even my ultrasound and before i heard his heart beat i was in love with that child...i had a child that i miscarried and I had a child that i lost shortly after birth and I loved those babies just like my children that are healthy today..i feel abortion is killing your own child, your own flesh and blood. I understand that every pregnancy isn't wanted and that some people are raped or unable to give there child a home but there are tons of adults out there that want these children and can provide for them
and years down the road you can still regret abortion but adoption you can at least find them and see if they are safe..they may chose not to see you but there alive and had a life to live...if you have a child and can't take care of it doesn't mean that that child isn't here for a reason and won't be an asset to society if we abort that child we are cheating the child and society..sorry I got carried away I just think death is never the answer when they haven't got the chance to really live

I really think it depends on the circumstances... if the woman is raped or if keeping the baby will harm the mother's health in a serious way, then abortion is completely understandable. She should do it no later than the end of the first trimester though. I feel though that if the woman cannot economically take care of the baby or doesn't want it for whatever reason, she should not terminate the pregnacy. Rather, she should give the baby up for adoption once she has it so it can have at least a chance at life. The child should not suffer as a result of poor choices.

no. not even in the case of rape. It's murder. It's not the child's fault you got pregnant. Did you know that baby can feel pain and the heart starts beating before you even know you are pregnant. What would you have done if your parents would have aborted you? that child may be the next doctor who cures AIDS or cancer..or maybe an inventor. Where would we be today if someone had of aborted einstein or the inventor of the lightbulb. or the inventor of the computers. You have no idea what that childs future holds. If you don't want it or can't take of it, dont' abort it..give it up for adoption. I want a child so bad but I can't have one..do you know how many people are in the same position. It makes me mad that people just want to "throw away" a life because it might be inconvienant.

Everyone should be able to make their own choice. It is not OK if you have 10 abortions and feel like everything is alright. If a woman has an abortion, she should seriously consider what she did, why she did it, and how to prevent it from happening again. There is a lesson to be learned from it, and hopefully she can take the life that ended seriously and make changes in her own life.

Yes I do. The only thing I'm against is women who use abortion as their main source of birth control. I dont like women who go through the clinics with a turnstile. At some point you should learn your lesson and take care of things better. I also am against late stage abortions. Women who are sexually active need to pay attention and take care of the situation as soon as they miss their period.

I have always been against abortion. When a woman has an abortion she is committing murder!!! When a woman goes to have an abortion the "doctor" puts saline into her stomach and then they break that poor baby's arms, legs, neck, whatever they have to in order to get that baby out of his/her mother's womb!!!
Then they throw them in the trash or into an incinerator and burn them. I wish abortion would become illegal. But it's not is it? It's okay for women to murder their child while it's still in the womb!

I feel that a woman that has to make a decision like that has a very good reason. I also feel that it is a right for women to decide. I personally would never have one, but I will never condemn a woman for having an abortion.

Every woman is different. You have some who believe it's a woman's choice and you have some who support pro-life. When it comes down to the mother's health, incest, being raped...I believe then it's a woman's choice. But having an abortion 'used' as a birth control method, I believe it's wrong. You know the consequences of having sex, whether protected or not. Protected sex is never 100%.

Depends on the woman as you can read from all the answers you have received. Should be a personal choice without being called names for doing so. Unfortunately most single births and kept by their mothers and end up on and in the governmental system whether on welfare or other "assistance" that becomes a way of life.

Yeah i do on some basis... Even though most people think it's a sin, think of what could happen -- Rape, Incest, etc.

Especially with things like incest...
Would you rather get an abortion or have a kid that's livin' a miserable life..??

But, whatever, it's a personal desicion...

Even though most people think of it as a form of "birth control"

it's like -- HAHA I GOT PREGNANT!! TIME TO GET AN ABORTION SINCE MY SLEAZY BOYFRIEND WOULDNT USE A CONDOM....

Not good
