I am taking a guess that there are four girls, and three boys in Jenny and Jim's family. Jenny would then have three sisters, and three brothers (her number of sisters is <= number of brothers). Jim would have four sisters, and two brothers; his number of sisters >= (2 * number of brothers).

If there are three boys and four girls, then Jen has three sisters and three brothers, or at least as many brothers as sisters. Jim has two brothers and four sisters, or at least twice as many sisters as brothers.
