Queen and Janis Joplin. Freddie Mercury was just awesome and Janis Joplin was pretty bloody cool too. P.S. Did you watch the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert? It was amazing and a little emotional! There is a Queen tribute band that are really good called Magic. I've seen them in concert and I was so impressed. They did the whole of Bohemian Rhapsody live - including the operatic bit!

I read your question, and Queen popped straight into my head. looks like I'm copying you now, but ah well. Freddie Mercury was really charismatic, they were never the same with Paul Rogers. Freddie was unique, and a fantastic showman!

Seen most of the artists Live, that I have ever wanted to see, over the last 35 years..(inc. Queen..on their last ever tour.."The Magic Tour", at Maine Rd, Manchester, back in '86)..but would still love to see Bowie, The Stones, Kiss, Rod Stewart and Elton John..
Unfort. I never got to see the late, great Marc Bolan which has grieved me for many years..and would have loved to have been 10 years older to have gone to see The Fab 4 (My step-sister did, at the Glasgow Odeon, back in the sixties)
Next gig up for me Live, is "the voice of Wet Wet Wet"..Marti Pellow on the 1st. night of his " Marti Pellow Alone tour..except for his best friend Chris Difford" THIS comin' Friday, in Glasgow.
Can't Wait..Whoo hoo. (I'm STILL a teenager, when it comes to live music)..be it "The Bay City Rollers", OR "Led Zeppelin"..
Take Care Y'all..Mark..

I'd have loved to have seen the original line up of Rainbow, original Black Sabbath in the 70's, Kiss in full make-up in the 70's, Pink Floyd, late 70's early 80's.
Thats my lot, I think!
