You didn't even hear what he said about McNabb did you? The point he really made is that McNabb has been the subject of a lot of focus, pressure, and hype because he is black and in a position rarely filled by black men. He indicated that the media has put McNabb on a pedestal such that anything short of amazing performance can make him fall. I've heard him say several times that McNabb is a good player.
If you aren't a liberal, what do you gain from misrepresenting the words of Rush Limbaugh?
For the record, I am registered independent.

Rush Limbaugh did not make fun of Michael J. Fox nor did he say Donovan McNabb was over rated because he is black. If no one liked Rush Limbaugh, he would not make $20 million a year. By the way, he just likes to hear himself speak and is full of himself.

Plenty of people like Rush Limbaugh. He shares the same beliefs as them, minorities are sub-human unless they are illegal aliens who are apparently above the law in their idea of how a country should work, owning guns is a way of life, bomb the hell out of every other country until we are the only ones left, and never admit a mistake. He's a Republican, the only thing they seem to get right is abortion, and even that is debate-able if you look at it from both sides. I usually don't feel that people shouldn't be allowed to have a talk show, but that racist piece of crap should shut down.
I have found that people love hearing someone talk about their beliefs and hate hearing others' beliefs. Problem is that both the left and right have transformed from people to sheep, believing in one thing or the other based on what the party believes. No individuality or thought taking place. The Right has it right in what they are trying to do, they just don't realize that sometimes certain outcomes are not feasible or realistic, but generally they have good intentions. Iraq war, you could argue with it or not, but the problem is that the juice isn't worth the squeeze and the only way to win is to spend 5 times what we have to spend. No child left behind is a great theory, but in practice all it does is limit the classes with weaker students (generally lower income or minority classrooms). That does nothing but make the rich private school kids and the ones in the white-only districts better and everyone else worse.
Republicans really have good intentions, but a POS like Rush really shouldn't be such a representative of the group. The guy is mean and bad-intentioned.

There's about 20 million people that like him enough to listen to him. The whole Michael J Fox thing was taken out of context, because no one bothers to read what Rush actually said. He said that Fox was either off his medicine or acting. Then Rush went on to quote an excerpt from Fox's book regarding attending hearings before the Senate:
"I had made a deliberate choice to appear before the subcommittee without medication. It seemed to me that this occasion demanded that my testimony about the effects of the disease and the urgency we as a community were feeling be seen as well as heard. For people who had never observed me in this kind of shape, the transformation must have been startling,"

Well you gotta take your hat off to the guy for making money. It's not about like or dislike, it's more of a sadness that there are so many sheeple that actually believe what he says. Hard to fault a guy for selling a crappy product, when people keep buying it.
Note to folks in denial about the McNabb comment (which he was fired for): He said that McNabb was overrated because the media was desirous for a black quarterback to succeed.

Conservatives like him, but then, who ever gave Conservatives points for having brains? Limbaugh should be strung up from a tall tree by the genitals until he begs forgiveness of Michael J. Fox and everyone else whom he's insulted with his venomous comments. The guy is a loser.

Fox has admitted that he did not take his medication before the commercial,
If Rush is so unpopular why does he have the highest rated talk show on the radio. If he is so disliked why was he able to create a genre of radio that has taken over the AM dial.
No, ultra leftists will never like him, he will not change to suit you.

yeah, you are not a liberal. And the earth is made of snow. Rush Limbaugh is one of the nation's leading talk shows. But, I guess the ratings are Bush's fault too, huh?
