I'm 22 years old and I know that if you have diabetes that could cause you to see spots but I don’t have diabetes. I have done some research but I didn’t answer my questions. I have been seeing spots for off and on for 1 month or so.
thanks for any and all advice

they are also small small little spots or floaters whatever you would like to call them. I have very good vision as well.. it usually only happens outside when its sunny.
i have been stressed out lately i do not know if that can be realted .
so i dont have to go to my regular doctors office? I can go to a normal eye doctor somewhere else. Because the earliest appt. my doctor has is Nov. 9

It sounds like you have floaters (vitreous fluid that has dried and has broken off and is now floating around). Some small ones at your age is normal, and they get a little worse as you get older, but if your eyesight is really bad, it can be a sign of retinal tearing. If that is the case, you should see an opthomalogist (an M.D.), not just an optometrist, they will put dye in your eye, and then examine it. It is painless, but you are light sensitive for a little while afterwards, it is also a fairly inexpensive test. If you have medical insurance use that to see the doctor, vision coverage does not cover it, because it is not a routine test, you would have to pay out of pocket.

That's not a lot of info to go on. Big spots, small, light, dark? It could be anything from dust in the air to a detaching retina.
It's time to get an eye exam. It doesn't have to be a big deal--just a walk-in visit with the optometrist at your local Pearl Vision or any of those eyeglass places with independent optometrists associated with them. Don't sit on it, get in and get checked out.

I think I can answer this one for you. YOU DO NOT HAVE A MEDICAL PROBLEM WITH YOUR EYES. However, I can relate to your dilemma as I face the same thing. My sons have also stated that they see spots. You see, you have liquid in your eyes to keep them moist. For what ever reason spots appear, that is a natural phenomenon with the eyes.
If you see spots and also see a grayish area when you look away in another direction, you may have water behind your cornea. That affliction should be see about with an optometrist. Do not worry about the spots too much. I think everyone experiences the same thing but few admit to it. You are not crazy

When you say spots, are they dark in colour or do they seem transparent? I sometimes see moving spots when I look at the sky.... usually during the summer months when the sky is bright blue.
The spots I see appear to be moving away from me, like I was in a tunnel. They can appear more vividly if I am physically exerted, from a run for example.
Whatever you do, you should see an optician about it or your GP. Good luck!

Exactly what kind of spots are they?...cause I see spots too, but my spots are more like greyish weird shaped dots that move around depending on the movement of my eyes.?? is that what u have too?..sorry, im not sure if I am really answering you...but more like questioning u.
