it takes a while to boot and shutdown both. all kinds of crap down in the system tray that i dont wany or need.

Get tweak UI. type it in google then press you feel lucky. get that then install and go to the section that allows you to manage programs that run on startup. disable everything unless you know exactly what it is and if its important. Always remember you can always start them up manually. go to grisoft.com and get the best free anti-virus there is. AVG. Then download.com and search for Spybot. It will remove all your spyware problems and is also the best one freely available. make sure you force all the programs listed above to check for updates before use (cept tweak UI)

Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall anything you don't want.
Install 'Adaware' & 'Spybot' and run them both.
Download Firefox web browser and use that instead of Internet Explorer.

reformat your computer to delete everything you have and reinstall windows then install anitvirus programs. also go to the add/remove program in the control panel to delete everything down the list you don't want
