Be honest please. Lots of people act like they don't care but then they spend three hours on their makeup or whatever.
I think everyone cares what at least one person thinks- someone like your mom, boyfriend,lover, etc. I mean just people in general that would be passing you on the street.
If not, don't you hate when people think you care what they think of you?

I like to think that I don't (for my own self esteem) but yeah I do..certain people anyway..strangers, no.
I want my parents to be proud of me - I want my boyfriend to think highly of me..I want my kids to respect me...

Yes and No. Depends on what your talking about. Like I tell my grand kids, I want them to remember me as a kind hearted grandpa and I tease them a lot, joking and loving them. I see too many grumpy old farts that sit back with a smug face hardly doing anything with their grand kids and actully just use them like a personal servant. Get me this or get me that. Not me. I'm not that type of person who feels I should be waited on hand and foot and my grand kids all love and respect me for that.
On the other hand, if someone doesn't like me because I do something a different way then they do.... Tough Chit, I don't give a damn what they think and I'd go so far to drop my drawers and let them kiss my cheek.

I do care what people think of me. I'm not the one to spend 3 hours on doing my make up though. I often think about the way that I look in other people's eyes.

I care, but I dont. I will get ready, do makeup, curl my hair, but thats more because I want to feel good about myself. I guess I wouldnt want the majority of people to think something bad about me or dislike me, but if a person here or there does than they can kiss my ***. They're just jealous anyway, right? ;)

As you say, people act like they don't care what people think, but that's a load of bunk. I want to be known as:
- a great dad
- a great boss
- a good leader
- a community giver
- a good employee
- a good golfer ( wishful thinking)
- a good person

well it kind of depends if it was someone who i didnt give a flying fck about then no but if it was someone that i wannted to look in front of then yes most of the time i do and sometimes i just dont care but over all i think everyone does even if its hard for them to be honest about it

Not so much about my physical image but when it comes to my childrens behavior yeah I care. Raised in an Asian household so I expect my kids to behave properly other wise it reflects on my parenting skills. Go figure lol

I don't! I wear makeup let's say, to please only one person. Me. I could care less of what others think because I'm individual, I like myself and I'm not changing for anybody! Why? Having doubts?
