Has anybody said Nepal here? Pardon me for my English here..
May be you don't know about it...
Its a place where I grew up. The country is diverse in all aspects, culture, landscape.. you name it. It's small country trapped between two big giants India and China which often get lots of attentions because of their size and population but nothing about Nepal much. Small it may be, trapped it may, it is accessible and big inside and offers more for any traveler's money any where on earth. I am not saying because I was born there, but because I know that as a fact by talking to visitors visiting my land and even learning it from the Internet.
I call a place nice if it offers these.
1. At least a view of the heavily sky and mother of Himalayas
2. A place where you can sleep for $5 a night for $50 else where
3. A place where getting to it costs a lot but getting the memories back home costs less!
4. If you like Adventure, there is no other better place to start you adventure travel
5. If you like people and culture, Nepal has more festivals than the days in our calendar!
6. Eat great Local foods yet still enjoy other international foods at a price you will say "Wow!" by your mouth-watering mouth!
7. Watch the mother of mountains, including the Mt. Everest right in front of your nose. Return back to your country and tell everyone that you had a kiss from the Everest, and you will never be the same.
8. If you just want to chill-out, visit the temples in Kathmandu, meet some Sadhus, visit the Thamel streets and be chilled!!!!
9. Watch Sun sets and Sun Rise as they were meant to be watched.
10. The nicest place on the earth is the place that not many people know about, and a place where everyone is taught "Guests are God" literally.
Nepal.

the nicest place is not where but yes where you are and what you make of it. You can be on an island with snakes and can't sllep because they are all over the place. But you can be in a regular city with the most beautiful woman or man in the world that just melts in your hand. You are passionately in love. The surroundings are what you make of it.

It's got to be a place in New Zealand called Kaikoura, It's got a beautiful snow caped mountain range that comes down to a palm-tree edged beach, with golden sand. Stand facing the mountains and behind you, you have lush green farmland. The sea is a lovely blue colour with whales, and seals in, The town is only small and would only take approx 15mins to walk down the main street. You have a lovely diverse mix of culture with both white NZ'ers and Maori settlers as well. You've got to see it honest.

Hmmmm i'd have to say Skippers Canyon in New Zealand, it was the location used in the original lord of the rings film where Arwen summoned the torrent of water that stopped the black riders when she was getting Frodo to Rivendell.

My home.
I know this is corny but; no-one will ever go thirsty or hungry.
Everyone will be welcome
It's a place to sit and relax and converse.
Hence the poem on my wall:
Come in sit down, relax,converse
my house isn't always this bad, sometimes it's worse!

As it says in the song 'wherever you are that's where I want to be'
So if you love someone or have their love it can only be where you are together.
I hope that you have someones love are are currently in the nicest place.
Thanks for asking!!

Victoria Falls, Zambia! Of course that is only from my own experience, nobody has been everywhere so there can never be a truly objective answer to this question!
