How can this happen, should i reply, or is it some kind of virus/spam sh**?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks all of you......I think I have sorted it now!? Anyone answering now, can you still see email or has it magically disappeared????????

Yup your e-mail address is visible. Hav just e-mailed you to confirm. Do as Raine said and uncheck the Communication - E-mail settings "Allow email communications with other Yahoo! Answers users. (All email addresses will be confidential)" (copied from settings page).

Your email address is not visible but you have ticked the box for people to send you emails. Untick the box on your privacy settings and block that particular sender. Any other unwanted emails, Spam it, and block it. Good luck.

you can stop people from emailing you by going on My Q&A and then edit my info, and scroll down to communication and tick the box to not allow your email address to be shown.

your email is not visible, i think it was just someone fishing for im its up to you if you reply but once you open chattng they are quite hard to stop the mail

You can't actually see your email address so I wouldn't worry about it

if you click on your name, all it says is email galaxy girl, it doesn't actually show your email addy, hope that answers your question
