Magazines, do you buy them?

Do people still buy magazines? I ask because I just recently made a question about which gaming magazine is better. The only answer I got was that I should just visit sites like Gamestop.com and Ign.com. Is this the case? Do you look stuff up in the internet or do you still buy magazines such as Maxim, WWE, hell even Playboy Magazine! Should I stop buying magazines because I'm just wasting my money or is there still things worth reading in Magazines that you don't get from the official site?

I do still buy magazines, but not all the time, maybe 3-5 times a year. (I try to buy MONTHLY magazines only to save money).

I like to pay for XXL magazine (Rap/Hip-Hop), Gamepro (Video Games), Sports illustrated once in a while (Sports), PWI (Pro-Wrestling Illustrated) (Wrestling) and Entertainment Weekly.

Yes you can STILL find certain bits of info in these and other magazines that you won't end up finding on their websites.

I have a subscription to a gardening magazine, and I sometimes buy magazines, because even though they may have a website, all of the articles are not accessible unless you buy the magazine.

I'll subscribe to almost any magazine that costs 12 bucks a year or less. I love magazines and find them invaluable when it comes time for a long sit.

i am a magazine fiend i subcribe to XXL, Vibe, Jane, King, and Parents. I usually buy Sister to Sister every month and i read Us Weekly, Star, and People at work. it's all in fun and sometimes stuff thats in the mag is not on the net

Definitely! You can't read a computer while standing in line for tickets or a bank machine. Magazines are terrific for content - just in a different way than digital content.

magazines are great. but they do cost some people can't aford the internet and magazines so they choose the internet. Since u can afford both keep buying them. They are great!!!!

I either check them out of the library (most of the time) or subscribe to them (I did that for Blender (ends September 2008) and Teen People (ended a long time ago)).

i still buy them...only when something interesting on the cover catches my eye, i don't check the sites so i never know what the new news is until i see them at the store
