Im not asking for the best brands, Im asking for the best technique. I already add a bunch of softener, which does help, but I want my laundry to smell even better.

I'd like to know because I love how sometimes you can smell how clean someones clothes are, or how you can walk into someone's room and you can smell that clean laundry smell right away. And cuz im anal like that...

well what I use is the Detergent with Febreze,
It leaves my laundry smelling fresh. I love the smell and it doesn't go away instantly!

I know you said you're not asking for brands, but if you use Downy Simple Pleasures Fabric Softener, your clothes will smell wonderful. I wash my sheets and use the lavender scented softener and I just love sleeping in the sheets and smelling the lavender scent.

My boyfriend is the best at this... He loves doing laundry & ironing & thoroughly steam irons everything using lavender water in the iron. I was really surprised when he started doing my laundry like this. He takes his time doing it and the laundry comes out smelling wonderful. My friends always ask me about the lovely smell in our apartment.

First, start off with a clean washer. Make sure you run bleach through your washer once a month. I don't mean bleach with your clothes, just a cycle with bleach. Also, make sure you take your clothes out of the washer soon after the cycle has ended. The longer those clothes sit, the stinker they get, no matter how much softener you use.

I refuse to spend what tide costs! i offered the convenience Mango Tango liquid fabric softener, and inspite of what cleansing soap, coloration bleach, or dryer sheets i take advantage of...my clothing scent like the convenience stuff. Even after being interior the fabric cloth cabinet for a week! i will on no account bypass returned to Snuggle or Downy.

I use the same "smell" as in the same Mountain Breeze smell for laundry detergent,fabric softner,dryer sheets.. Also what really helps is after you do laundry and put it up put a dryer sheet in your dresser drawers.

put some of your favourite essential oil on a rag in the tumble dryer hey presto nice smelling laundry yours probably smell nice its just that your used to the smell so you ant smell it
