That would be great. And if a debate was truly a debate, and a candidate stated his position, not that of the other candidate.

They way things are now, you have to take what one candidate says about the other, and find out if it is a true, an exaggeration of the truth, or just a lie. The candidates twist and manipulate the truth, and then add lies to it. It's not always easy to find the truth, and that is why a lot of voters just don't care anymore.

Because they would rather spend all their campaign money making the other guys look bad, than to talk about what they're going to do when they're in office. They're all retarded liars anyway. Real people like me ought to be in office, not the fake rich bastards who do everything for the good of themselves & their friends. Too many people are being screwed in this country nowadays.

We're in the ironic spot where with all our technology that should make us smarter, we are behaving more and more like devolved Man: fighting, backbiting, lying, name-calling, rumor-mongering, appealing to all the basest instincts.

Humanity is shamed by the ads put out by most politicians, but they seem to be buying into a lot of it. Go figure.

I agree with you all they do is take each other down trying to get the advantage so they can win. If they actually talk about their real views they might get some more votes

People who have no ideas of their own have to resort to bashing and the same type of people follow them. The blind leading the blind with the same blind hatred.

Something most children should be trained not to do by the age of six.

It's these same people who want to have everyone else have 'sensitivity' training. More hypocrisy.

They don't know what they stand for until their political contributors tell them what they stand for. So that only leaves bashing the other guy!

i am extremely tired of it. That is the whole reason why I switched to the Libertarian party.....not as much bashing, but definetely rising as a viable 3rd party in the US.

I for one am tired. I can't find out where these people stand at all with these commercials. It is a joke.

I’m so tired of this habit. If you can’t tell me why I should vote for you I won’t, and I’m certainly not going to vote for you just because you say the other guy is bad.

Yeah! They should make it a rule that during debates, they cannot mention their opponent's names, let alone insult them. I'd want to know what they stand for, not what their opponent doesn't stand for.
