I am planning a trip this coming January, and I haven't a clue where to go! I've never left CA (I know, how sad)! I have thought of so many places both national and international. I actually just want to know where everybody prefers to vacation that time of year. I'm pretty open to any idea.

Well, that all depends on what kind of vacation you are looking for. If it's skiing, Hawaii is definitely out of the question. However, I am from Hawaii, and Molokai is the most Hawaiian, and warm in January. Also, we have Humpback whales that migrate here and stay for the winter. They are wonderful to watch while they play in the channel. Also, Molokai is great for those who are looking for relaxation, outdoor activities, and not a lot of traffic! that's my vote! come and visit! Aloha!

Go to Hong Kong, because most of the malls open late (some 24/hr). There's alot of things you can buy that we don't even have in Canada or USA yet. I'm pretty sure you like shopping because you're a girl and I promise you that you gonna love it!!!
