What hardware are you using? Linksys?

If yes, go to http://www.linksys.com and download the security setup.

If you need help let me know. I do this for folks all the time.

Have fun but be safe!

Go into the setup on the Wi-Fi router. You can access it through the USB connection or by going to the IP address for the router, usually 192,168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. There should be a tab in the setup screen to set up the password. The password is usually a hexidecimal number sequence (the numbers 0-9 and the letters A-F). After you have set a code on the router, you set up the Wi-Fi connection on your computer and set the code in there as well so that you can get on your network.

Look at the documentation for your router. It should have the URL to log into your router's setup. Once in, go to Security and create a network key. It will then generate a password. You will need that password to access your network on every wireless pc.

......From what I know under networks, enable WEP or WPA then name your network and create a password, be sure to use symbols, numbers, and letters. To make hack safe.
Good luck
