I would vote for her because I agree with her on many issues. She supported the war in Iraq at the beginning as I did too, she has shown that she has the capacity to manage a public office and defend herself against conservative republicans who hate her. She could do much good as president and she would have my vote.

My knee jerk reaction is to say yes. I like Hillary for many reasons. She's qualified, and she's a fairly moderate Democrat, which interests me. I think that many folks dislike her for no reason other than her last name is Clinton, which to me is moronic. I'll be able to say yes with authority after the mid-terms, when the Democratic nominees will start gearing up their platforms, IF I like her running points. I'll resist the temptation to vote for her simply because she is a woman, I can't vote that irresponsibly. She's a hawk, which is going to be a requirement to get any woman elected, she has backbone, and plenty of grace under pressure. The way she handled herself during the Lewinsky scandal was truly awe-inspiring to me. It showed me that in the face of media consumption she could stand her ground and keep her self-respect intact. She's right about the war, we can't just pull out tomorrow, we've created too much of a mess to do that. I'm waiting to hear her thoughts on how we should proceed and still plan for eventual withdrawal realistically. There's so much we still need to hear from her, but I am cautiously encouraged so far.

I would - yes - but if Barack Obama runs, I'll vote for him because I think he has more of a chance than Hillary - given Hillary's perception across the country. The main goal in '08 is to oust the Republicans and get America back to the people. I'll vote for whomever I feel has the best chance of doing that. In the primary, I would vote for Obama over Clinton - but not because I like Clinton any less - I think she'd make a great President - she's got lots of experience (her husband is my favorite President).

If Obama decides it's too early, I'll vote for him in '24 and Hillary for now, hoping her reputation in New York overrides her perception across the country.

Something about her...I just have a hard time trusting her. She is such a political machine. She will say and do whatever is best for her political carrer. It's unfortunate I feel this way because I would love to see a great woman step up. In the end however, I will listen to what each candidate has to say and listen to my head and heart. It's been more than once that I had set my mind on voting one way and then changed my mind.

No Way! I am a democrat, and suppor the basic premises of the party, but cannot support Clinton. She has no real credentials, was a carpet bagger in New York (shame on them for electing her!!!!) and is also linked in some circles with the death of the guy in the white house, I think Foster was his name. Heard her speak once, she is really proud of herself, but doesn't really say anything about anything--windy just like Kerry.

I would vote for John Edwards, a real, viable, moderate candidate.

I'm a moderate Democrat, and have never voted Republican for president, but if Hill is the nominee, I honestly cannot support her. I have strongly supported women in the past, but I do not trust her.

Absolutely I would.

I can see Hillary and Obama running together. What a team that would be!

Depends on who she is running against. I would rather see someone like Obama run. I think a lot of people would vote either for or against her just becuase she is a girl.

It depends on who she runs against and where her and her opponent stand on the issues I care about. I have no problem with voting a woman for president.

No. Her running for president would only guarantee a republican victory, too little support in her own party and none from the other.
