I like Gerald Aaron. (Aaron is also the name of Moses' older brother. He was Moses' "spokesman" due to his brothers speech impediment. It means shining light in Hebrew.) It would be a wonderful way to honor your late grandfather. It just sounds like a winner!

damon gabriel! if ur child goes to school, it would be easier to have the name damon than gerald. i know you mean it to sound like Jerald with a J but some people would say it like Gerald with a G. N trust me i know. i once had a friend named noshin. it may seem like a simple name but it caused her a lot of trouble, even when we took BIG tests. she really didnt like her name. i also see that you like more unique names and thats great so i think damon gabriel is a more unique name with a nice little modern twist. gerald aaron seems like a sadder name but damon sounds more COOL!=] good luck with your choice.

What about Aaron Gerald? That way you can still honor your grandfather, but the name doesn't seem so old for a little boy.

I would go for a mixture of the two. Like Gerald Damon, or something... Gerald is a little behind the times, it might be a better middle name.

I like Gerald Aaron. Especially because it was your grandpas name, it is a great boy name for a child and an adult, it is easy to spell, pronounce and remember.
