Most jobs do background checks regardless unlees you apply at like Mcdonalds or somewhere but I have a record and I was just upfront and applied to everywhere. I did not have a felony. Try warehousing positions, employment agencies, I actually worked for a company called CLP resources They are a agency that contracts to construction sites carpenter electricians etc. Good Luck

Drug dealer. Hit man. Although these days they probably check to see if you really are a criminal.
All jokes aside, most responsible and pretty much all decent-sized employers do them now days, and with court records often free and on-line, more and more do the checks because the insurance companies practically require them. Look for a small business or better yet, go into business for yourself if you want to avoid any background check.

its okay dont try to hide your criminal record. think about how you want to live your life. do u want to end up working at mcdonalds at an old age? at a job interview, be honest. say that you know you have done some bad things in the past, but youre not that person anymore. eeveryone makes mistakes. and they learn from those mistakes and grow from them. if you really are changed tell them that. say ur willing. tell them youre just a regular person; youre not some terrorist. good luck in everything you do. =]

You could start your own home business. That way you start on the same playing field as everyone else, and your background is your own private business. I have one in the health and wellness industry that is easy to do, and very lucrative. People from all backgrounds do this and do very well.

There might be one at the Police Station. I walked past tonight and it had a poster saying 'Man Wanted for Rape'. As it happened I didn't have time to go in and apply.

Dunno, but you should ask at your state labor or employment office - they would understand your situation and have ways to work with you (or they should).
Good luck.
