Why were Dave's teachers risking their jobs when they reported the abuse? It says they did in the book but it doesn't say why. Also what was your most favorite part of the story.

It does tell you why the teacher's were risking their jobs if they reported the abuse in the books, because back in the 60s and 70s child abuse wasn't recognized as much then as what it is today and I'll say my best part of the book is when Dave Pelzer makes the best decision my writing the book and getting rid of his first wife Pasty, but at least they stayed friends for the sake of his son Stephen and you probably didn't read the book properly no offense.
