It depends on what you're asked. If you have a friend or relative that is in a supervisory / management / hiring capacity, you should have them do a mock interview with you. They'll tell you why they would or would not hire you, read your body language, etc.

Reflect on your previous interview experiences. Was there a common thread running through all of them? Was there a type of question that rattled you on each one? Were you qualified for the positions or just hoping to get into the interview?

I've interviewed a number of people over the years. What I look for are things like:

1. How much does this person know about my company? Did they do any research at all?
2. Did they ask me any questions? Did they ask what a typical day would be like for the position? Did they ask me questions that indicated they were listening to what I need in an employee?
3. Did they ask me about the salary? Frankly, I hate when people do that from the beginning. Get through the interview first; we'll talk salary if we're both serious about you getting the job.
4. Did they act and dress like they respected the whole process of interviewing? There's nothing that turns me off more than someone who is casually or inappropriately dressed to meet me.

Do a search for Interview Tips / Techniques / Questions. There's a lot of good information out there. Good luck.

There is no magic words in a job interview, sorry. I have done any interviews from each side of the table, and no one said one thing that would make them hire them except, perhaps...

"I'll work for free."

But I guess that's not what you're after.

The better thing to do is not use those worn out canned answers. Be honest and confident. That will work the best.

Oh, and your biggest weakness is that you are a perfectionist.

I'm qualified, I'm dependable, I'm hard working and I want the job.

Relax and take deep breath. Be yourself and don't be nervous. Answering the questions honestly and don't lie.
