oh yeah, it's inconvenient, but it's still funny. i'm in a school play and it's kind of embarassing when all that comes out during rehearsal are adolescent-boy-esque squeaks! *hoarse chuckle*

not really.

I'm an actor and I lost my voice on a shownight of a performence...while onstage i could barely talk and it hurt so bad because i had to project. By the end of the show it was completly gone.

I used to think so, but now I make my living with my voice so when I lose it, I'm losing out on work & pay. That makes it less funny now than before, but I do agree that sounding like a toad can certainly make me laugh.

Yes it's strange. Gaggle with some salt water and try not to talk unless you just have too. It will heal maybe over night.
