At one level, the two are mutually exclusive - if it is "easy", then you didn't really care about the other person enough for it to qualify as "heartbroken".
That being said, there are different types of responses to romantic loss. The typical adolescent, for instance, categorizes it as "my whole world is ending" - essentially losing perspective on this one relationship in the greater context of their whole life. (of course, I should have said stereotypical, as many adolescents are mature enough not to respond like this).
Maturity brings the ability to see the forest for the trees, and while the pain, grief and loss are still there, many are able to still function and deal. Is it easier? Perhaps not. But they are able to incorporate it into their lives without it debilitating them.
Best to you. Interesting question.

Sadly, no. You can feel numb, or push it so much out of your mind that you temporarily forget about it, but i mean..somethin like heartbreak cant just be forgotten like that, so it will still be there, just waitin for you to deal with it. Life is strange like that, it forces you to feel everythin wholely and completely, or you just dont feel right, and even other people will tell you that you´re not handling the situation in a healthy way. This is just my opinion though.

No there is nothing to do but live and let time take care of it. Within time the pain is less or you learn to live with it.
