I was wondering whats the name to this short story i read in a english literature book?

Its about this girl named Marilyn and its a futuristic story and iT IS SOOO SAAADD!! anyway marilyn sneaks on a ship called ...starburst? i think. seriously.and well the ending is soo sad but anyway.. i was wondering what its called. if anyone knows, thanks, -Amber
