There was a policeman in the Chicago area yesterday that pulled a man from a burning car. Definitely a hero. Look in your local paper for everyday people who do extraordinary things.

i think the best thing you could do would be interview a firefighter from 911. it would be sooo interesting. if you don't live in new york or can't get in touch with a firefighter then you could write about someone who is a hero to you. it doesn't have to be someone who saved the world but it could be somone you've looked up to and is important to you.
