What do you think of this: http://www.circuses.com/unwilling.asp?
Tell me what you think only if you read this article. Please read the other pages as well. This must stop!!! It makes me cry to see this.
Last night on Spike, they showed a program about animal cruelty. When you watch this, it looks like crazy insane animals have gone wild, but then they tell you what is behind this.
In particular, it is extremely sad to see elephants who weigh about 3000 pounds each getting hit, shocked and bullied by humans. They are in chains at all times except when performing.
I would like to talk about an elephant called Janet. She had 5 children and a female adult on her for a family fun ride, but then she decided she had enough and charged out of the circus, almost killing her trainer and injuring many others.
What kills me is that the government does almost nothing about this unhumane act. To help this stop help alert others, and donate at this website https://ebiz.isiservices.com/peta-e/peta/donation.asp?section_code=I03A2B0A

I forgot to add that I am ashamed that any person would do that to an animal. What kind of person could do that? An evil one.
And it's all for OUR entertainment!

These animals should be put back into the wild. A good way to see exotic animals is to go to a zoo that uses humane methods with animals.
I'd avise that anyone that reads this spreads the word and never goes on an elephant ride. It's not fun for them, and who knows? They might decide they've had enough and it could be the end of your life.

I think that circuses should be shut down permanently if they don't start treating their animals with respect. I'm a pet-sitter and animal-lover; I do not tolerate animal abuse. I investigate and I report ASAP so I can get the animal out of the situation fast. Mos importantly, I do NOT return the animal to the abuser. You abuse, you lose. Thank god I haven't had to report yet, but I will if the need arises. Animals weren't put on this earth to be neglected and abused; they're here to be treated with respect, kindness, and love. People who think otherwise are real sick. I'm a proud member of the Montgomery County SPCA and I hope to someday bring an end to animal cruelty and child abuse. The government should be more involved; people need to stand up to the government and make them realize what is happening to innocent animals, and that circuses need to be banned nationwide. I think the Humane Society and the SPCA should get involved as well. I do hope those elephants are rescued and put into an animal sanctuary.

You're definately going to want a legal professional. While a 'running puppy' is given leeway, the truth the puppy wasn't for your estate and was once injured does now not appear well. Roaming puppy packs intent issues in lots of areas (we have now had cows killed through them), so that is a factor towards you. Yours was once at the avenue, which means that it would had been hit, and a lifeless puppy is not well for someone. The damage is not well both. Makes it appear such as you would have performed it. The fleas are a minor factor, forget about that side. If you might have an impartial vet (from one more town) examine your different puppies and do a document for you, that'll cross far. Farm puppies, searching puppies, they are now not apartment pets and the pass judgement on by and large might detect this. If you might have any clinical documents at the puppy, get copies of the ones made now. That's evidence you have been taking good care of it most often. You'll have got to google 'texas animal legislation' (there is plenty on-line) and likewise Texas animal legal professional to discover what you want.

I watched the program before about Janet the elephant and I agree it is totally shocking. Some people just don't value animals and see them as a service or something to be used and exploited for their own personal gain. It is this race of people that will ultimately wipe out some of the already endangered species that are on the planet. We have these morons to thank in the end. It makes me totally ashamed to be a human.

I seen that too, isn't it terrible? To think what those poor animals go through for people's entertainment, it's sick. Then the trainers wonder why they retaliate and go "crazy". I would too if I was in that situation. Plus elephants, tigers, lions, they are all wild animals and should always be considered as such. They are not suitable for people to be in close contact with unless they understand the high risk and do not blame the animal when they are hurt or even killed.

Animal cruelty is horrible; I could never do such a thing. I too don't go to circuses.
P.S. Watch the PETA 2 version of Rise Against's music video "Ready to Fall".
It will bring you to tears.

i wish i had a credit card, so i could donate. Ya know what? I've been looking for something to do for my girl scout gold award! I could raise money for this cause and write a letter to the senator of my state! Thanks for the idea, and making me aware of this stuff!
