Yes' it can be a sign of low iron. My mother witch is 72 yrs old was chewing ice all the time. She told her doctor about it and she checked her iron and it was low. She has been on iron pills ever sence.

I've never heard of that.
Because ice is just frozen water.
And drinking water doesnt mean you have iron issues.

Never heard of that...I'm pregnant and I chew on ice constantly! I'm actually chewing on some now, haha!

might as well mean you got sugar issues, a lot of people are diabetic without even knowing it. If you're often thirsty and tired you might want to see a doc asap

when i was pregnant and my iron was really low...I chewed on ice constantly drove ppl nuts....my doc said it was because of the anemia.

no it means that your body gets alot fluid plus it wont harm you it will just make you feel good
