I got some engine oil on a cotton blazer. How would I get the stain out? It's dry clean only, due to the lining, but I'm currently traveling. Thanks!

Even if you are traveling, your hotel usually offers cleaning services or ask around the hotel for a dry cleaners that can do it in one day. I wouldn't risk any pre-treatment sprays on something dry clean only especially since the garment will be in a suitcase for a bit.

as a car nut I deal with this often. Use simple green to pretreat the area and let soak for a couple of hours. Reaply simple green and throw in washer with your normal detergent and "Mule Team Boraxo" detergent enhancer. Check stain before putting in dryer.
See if you can remove the lining (probably not). Ask the laudry mat is all I can think of.

You can spray them before washing with Awesome general purpose cleaner, 409 spray cleaner, or add a 1/4 cup of Dawn dishwashing liquid to your washload.

All three work miracles, even on old stains.

Try a product called "Goo Gone". You can find it at Wal-Mart. I used it to remove asphalt (also called "black oil") from my favorite jeans and work jacket. It worked very well.
