Dick Butkus - Chicago Bears, linebacker. I met him once way back in 1969, a really nice guy. I was in the Navy stationed at Great Lakes and scored a free ticket to a home game. The catch, I had to go in uniform and as a result nearly froze my rear end. It gets COLD in the windy city during football season and the Bears played outside. I gained a whole new level of respect for the players that day.
